Financial Governance Overview

How income is generated, recorded, allocated and reported in the two mangrove destinations

This module documents how the two mangrove destinations are meant to handle money: where income comes from, what it costs to earn it, how the surplus is divided, who decides, and how the village sees the result.

It holds three different things on purpose, and keeps them apart: the original workshop proposals exactly as the groups recorded them, an illustrative comparison framework prepared by the documentation team, and the refinement recommendations that would turn a proposal into a policy.

Nothing here is an adopted policy

No allocation on this portal is an adopted policy. Sugian proposed 40/30/15/15 and Seruni Mumbul proposed 40/20/20/20 in the workshop — both are recorded as proposals pending a village decision. The comparison framework is explicitly not a standard.

Three allocations, three different statuses

Two are workshop proposals. One is an illustrative comparison. None of them is a policy — the status label on each card is the important part.
